Leadership is not only about education and experience it is also about courage

“When we extrapolate our results for vitamin D3 supplementation to the entire US population in 2020, there would have been approximately 4 million fewer COVID-19 cases and 116,000 deaths avoided. We calculated these values by applying our estimated 20% average reduction in infection and 33% reduction in mortality after infection for vitamin D3 to a total of 19,860,000 cases and 351,999 deaths through 202029”

This is a treatment protocol for COVID that was recommended by many Medical practitioners throughout the world who were victimimsed and censored for doing so throughout the pandemic.

This included our own Medical practitioners. One of which recommended this protocol to me under duress, out of fear of being deregistered or victimized. As the pre-COVID vaccine treatment protocol recommended was rest, paracetamol, and isolation while we awaited its “vaccine” production and supply.

Looking at the data in this report from a prestigous medical journal and medical researchers it is clear that our own Medical practitioners who did this were right. That many of pur people would have been properly treated under this protocol and relieved of the ill-effects of the disease as well as death and now self-evident side-effects of problematic vaccines.
Problematic to extent of various ailments and early death statistics that are now coming out across the world and including our own Fiji. But we will not see these statistics under this government.
Our Prime Minister, Minister of everything under the advice of his Chief Medical Officer and their team should have been on TV, and across the media, recommending this cheap and easily accessible treatment to the people.
This to me is the greatest tragedy of the Fiji First Governments reign. That they not only did not do this but they blindly followed the crowd taking the whole population with them. Allowing other countries to freely donate, the now known to be problematic vaccines, so that they might be used on the population in an agressive, enforced and mandated vaccination policy.
That they made the Fijian people guiness pigs and hailed as the gold standard across the world in achieving the highest levels of vaccination of our population in the shortest length of time was a gross betrayal of trust .
To the loss of many, who lost jobs and livelihood, when they fought against it under the “No jab no job” policy.
As a sovereign country we must act sovereignly respecting the qualified advise of our own experts who live, have a stake, and and have skin in the game here, as to policy that is put out in our own country.
This at times will require courage to travel alone even against the mainstream of the world particularly when it comes to the health and well-being of our people. Understanding that the forces that be, that bring contrary advise to our shores have their own interests, stake and skin in the game. Which if were not clear earlier is clearer now. One of which was the Billions of dollars made by businesses that produced and distributed these vaccines or treatment protocols to the world.
I am happy to say that under the Unity Fiji party manifesto we will repeal this “No jab no job” policy not only because it was morally or ethically wrong.
But throughout the pandemic, looking at data being produced across the world by true guardians of the medical fraternity that it was the wrong policy. That our own Medical practitioners who knew the data and recommended against it were right and should have been listened to.
The legacy of this gross act of poor leadership by the present government is sadly yet to be fully played out. They should not take any comfort in thinking that their hands were tied or that much of the world took similar measures.
We must trust our own experts. We must look squarely at data, first of all producing it and making it widely available for digestion, so that we can draw own conclusions as to what is best for “US” and not others. Others we are not called or paid to represent.
